Fiorentina's commemorative jersey celebrates the club's centenary in 2026. Designed by Joma, it draws direct inspiration from the very first identity of ACF Fiorentina, formed in 1926 from the merger of Club Sportivo Firenze and Palestra Ginnastica Fiorentina Libertas. The kit thus incorporates the historic red and white colors, long before purple became Fiorentina's emblematic color.

The main visual element of this edition lies in its red and white vertical stripe. This combination directly echoes the colors worn at Fiorentina's founding in 1926, when the two Florentine companies that created the club each contributed their color to the new identity. The black collar and black details complete the design, also recalling the club's earliest kits.

The red section features a subtle pattern woven into the fabric, while the white section maintains a much more understated appearance. The overall effect gives the jersey a truly modernized, historical look, with an aesthetic deliberately different from Fiorentina's traditional purple kit.

History and heritage

ACF Fiorentina was founded in August 1926 following the merger of Club Sportivo Firenze and Palestra Ginnastica Fiorentina Libertas. The former club primarily wore white, while the latter was associated with red. The new Fiorentina then adopted a kit combining these two colors, along with the Florentine lily on the chest.

One hundred years later, Fiorentina celebrates its anniversary with a kit that deliberately returns to its original identity. The jersey is thus a true tribute to the club's early years and to Florence's sporting history.

The crest visible on the jersey also reflects this historical inspiration: the red lily is placed in a white teardrop-shaped crest, corresponding to the emblem used in the early days of Fiorentina.
