Barca Home Jersey 2017-2018

FC Barcelona's retro-vintage home kit for the 2017-2018 season marks a significant turning point: the arrival of sponsor Rakuten and a modernized design that reinvents the traditional blaugrana stripes. Nike offers a dynamic version, designed to symbolize the club's evolution while respecting its identity.

Design and style

• Traditional colours of blue and garnet, revisited with vertical bands of varying width.

• Modern graphic effect: wider central bands and thinner side bands to create an impression of speed.

• Clean, round neckline with a touch of yellow on the shoulders, a subtle reminder of Catalan colours.

• Yellow Nike logo, embroidered FC Barcelona crest and Rakuten sponsor in white.

• Breathable fabric equipped with Nike AeroSwift technology.

• A fitted cut offering excellent comfort and a modern silhouette.

This design is among the most popular jerseys of the post-MSN era.

History and heritage

The 2017-2018 season was marked by:

• The arrival of Ernesto Valverde as manager.

• A solid Barça led by Messi, Suárez and a newly arrived young Dembélé.

• The Liga + Copa del Rey double, confirming the club's dominance on the national scene.

• The beginning of a new visual era with Rakuten, the first major sponsor outside the humanitarian sector for many years.

This jersey symbolizes the renewal of a Barça in transition but still ambitious.

Details and advice
